I went to the Alfresco cafe today with some of the playgroup people. And this happened....
One of the girls with me seemed to think that it was good luck to have a bird poo on your head. I don't know if I agree. I think that it was lucky that I had some wipes with me. Either way Jozef didn't seem to mind at all. He didn't even make a fuss when it happened.

Fun in the Sun
Sethi and LuLu love the fig tree in the back yard. We recently put a swing up for them and if it is possible, they love the tree even more!
I rang up our local garage 'Wilson's' to ask if they had any tyres to make a swing from. When I went to pick up the tyre a few days later they had already cut it into a swing for me! You've gotta love that country hospitality! The kids have been having loads of fun. My next acquisition will have to be an Avery size swing to hang on the other side of the tree.

Sunday Afternoons
There is nothing quite so wonderful as a Sunday afternoon!
We had a great day at church today. The Turners came over here and we had Primary after sacrament meeting for the first time. I don't know that the kids were too keen on the extended church meetings (Sethi still perfers the 10 minute sacrament meeting!) but there is always lunch to look forward to afterwards! Royal and the kids were having a play this afternoon and I couldn't resist taking a photo of everyone together.

Avery loves her food!

First Day of School
Sethi and LuLu ready for their first day back at school.
Both of the kids were up early and ready quickly - very excited to get back to school to see all of their friends. They were also very excited because the Turners would be at school too! Jonah is in LuLu's class and Hannah is in Sethi's class which is great. As you can probably see from the pictures it was already very hot at 8.30 in the morning.

An Update from Norseman
Avery Esperance enjoying a trip to the beach at Esperance!
We went down to Esperance for church last weekend and took the kids for a walk down the beach afterwards. Here is a picture of Avery enjoying a cuddle with Royal at one of our favourite spots.
